Islam is against idol worship then why do they kiss the black stone and bow to the kaaba ? A depiction of the human form in that regard is also frowned upon in islam, so even if it was god and not aphrodite, it would probably still be viewed as idol worship by most muslims. Setting aside any tribal feuds, they would worship their gods in the kaaba and trade with each other in the city.

Arabs also believed in jinn (subtle beings), and some vague divinity with many offspring. If all arabs knew this, why would they so boldly defile the place with idols for generations? The direction muslims face during their prayers.

Various sculptures and paintings were held inside the kaaba. Islam is against idol worship then why do they kiss the black stone and bow to the kaaba ?

So all what you do around kaaba and during pilgrimage are not for idolatry.all of these worships are for train your spirit how to fight evils and to gain forgivness from your god. Each party rejoicing with what they have. You will fight to seek your god satisfaction.
